IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

• Do not take any antihistamines (prescription or over-the-counter) for 7 days before your test.

• If you are unsure whether your medication will affect your results, please check with your doctor or pharmacist.

• An initial consultation fee of $66 applies (out-of-pocket).

WHO SHOULD NOT HAVE SKIN PRICK TESTING (CONTRAINDICATIONS)

Please inform us before your appointment if you:

• Are currently pregnant

• Have severe or unstable asthma

• Have dermographism (a condition where the skin becomes raised or inflamed easily from minor pressure)

If any of these apply, we will discuss alternative allergy testing options with you.
